He is a DJ who had affluent experience in music more than 20 years, he is a photographer who keens on old fashion cars and film cameras, he is a shanghai musician who had the favor of parties. Due to his experience of electronic music culture and producing in performance, he has become the predominate figure in clubs and parties such as House Nation, Freaklub, Yellow since the late ninety’s in beijing.Sharing good music is the concept of his which made him being a popular fly-man musical ambassador. However, not only can he harness different styles of music, but he is into understanding background and histories in music and relating music deeply to environment, pattern, and brand.Ben Huang, as a musical urchin with personable gentry, leading us roam in this colorful, gracious world.

 

 

Quentin Paquignon was born in a music family in 1981,who started to play violin since 5 years old.Three years later,instead of playing violin ,he began to learn saxophone from Didier Foucher who was one of masters of French Air Orchestra.In the year of 2001,he was invited to a band “The Grammacks New Generation”by a pop star Jeff Joseph and started to perform in Network City,Guadalupe,and Dominica.After advanced study in saxophone which taught by Louis Sclavis, Quentin came to shanghai ,china ,to explore more and founded his own band as Golofish.In 2008,Quentin Paquignon participated in a charity concert “To be with shanghai”for victims who had suffered in earthquakes.He also performed at House of Blue&Jazz and showed with Eruk Truffaz.Besides,his footprints swept myriad of musical festivals(Shanghai JZ festival,Hangzhou music festival),Jazz clubs(Mao livehouse,House of Blues and Jazz) ,TV channels (CCTV9,Dragon TV,Wenzhou TV),and Shanghai theater,Shanghai Oriental Art Center,Shanghai yucheng sound hall,Shanghai World Expo,MGM Grand Macaus and HK City Hall Theatreharing,etc,sharing his enthusiasm,telling his stories,expressing his emotion to people who enjoy music.He currently has three bands:Quentin Paquidnon,the polymorph extra.Meanwhile,he is talented in design and he has started up his company.He will merge his creation and passion into his own brand.
