All terms and conditions related to the Event are subject to the Event Organiser's policies. users must adhere to all rules, regulations, and requirements as set forth by the Event Organiser. Any changes, updates, or amendments to these policies by the Event Organiser shall take precedence over other terms and must be followed by all users.

 

     2. Package and Price Detail

2.1 Package Detail: 2 Days 1 Night - Blossom House Shanghai On The Bund - Close to the Race Start（No refund or change）

2.2Race Entry is available for sale as a package only.

Prices fluctuate in real time based on international exchange rates

2.3The Travel Package includes hotel accommodations specifically aligned with the dates of the 2025 Shanghai Marathon. For comprehensive details regarding the hotel stay, including check-in and check-out dates, amenities, and any additional services, please refer to the product listing page on our platform.

 

     3. A maximum of one (1) package1 can be purchased per order, per account.

Each Package is non-transferable and the User must register as a user of the 2025 Shanghai Marathon at the time of purchase.

 

     4. Package Purchase Terms

4.1Purchase Restrictions

IMPORTANT:Please note that our packages are not applicable to holders of Chinese passports (including those from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan), even if they reside overseas.

4.2No Changes or Cancellation

①Once an order is successfully submitted, no changes or modifications to the registration information will be accepted. The User bears full and sole responsibility for ensuring all information provided is accurate and complete prior to confirming the transaction.

②Travel Packages are strictly non-cancellable, non-changeable, and cannot be partially canceled or modified for any reason. This Event Travel Package cannot be refunded, returned, transferred or resold once sold. Duplicate entry purchases are non-refundable and cannot be modified. All bookings for this product must comply with this notice.

③Hotel cancellation and change rules:

After purchase of the Package is made successfully, cancellation, modification of check-in date, or change of hotel is no longer available.

④Traveler information description:

After a successful reservation, the traveler information cannot be modified, and the hotel guests cannot be added or changed.

⑤Please note: The destination hotel partner may adjust room prices for individual sales based on market conditions. Such adjustments will not affect confirmed package product prices. Once booked, the package product price is final and non-refundable, with no price adjustment claims permitted. Users acknowledge and accept these terms when placing their order.

5.1Age and Eligibility

Users of the Event must be 20 years old before 31 December 2025. By purchasing this Package, users warrant and represent that they are in good health, have maintained adequate long-distance running training, and are medically fit to participate in the marathon. 247tickets.com bears no responsibility for any health-related incidents during the Event.

5.2Physical Requirements for Users

The Event is a physically demanding and high-risk long-distance competitive sport. By participating in the Event, users acknowledge and accept these inherent risks. users must be in good physical condition and have consistent long-term running practice. By registering for this event, users warrant and represent that they do not have any of the following conditions that would make participation unsafe: congenital or rheumatic heart disease, hypertension, cerebrovascular disease, myocarditis or other heart conditions, coronary artery disease, severe arrhythmias, diabetes, pregnancy, a recent cold or fever (within the last two weeks), or any other health conditions that may pose a risk. users are strongly advised to consult their physician before registering for the Event.

5.3Insurance and Medical Aid

①Users are advised that personal accident insurance coverage during the Event is to be provided by the Event Organiser. The specific type of coverage and insured amount will be defined by the final insurance policy and contract purchased by the Event Organiser. Details of insurance coverage should be reviewed in the documentation provided by the Event Organiser. 247tickets.com is not responsible for the facilitation or issuance of this insurance and shall not be liable if insurance cannot be purchased or claims cannot be processed due to incomplete, inaccurate, or untrue registration information provided by users.

②Insurance Period

Standard insurance coverage for users on Race Day (30 November 2025) will be in effect from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM (GMT+8). This coverage period applies only to registered runners holding valid entry tickets in accordance with the Event's terms and conditions.

③Fixed medical aid stations will be available at the starting point, the finish line, and at designated locations along the race route. These stations will be clearly marked with visible signage. Ambulances will accompany runners along the route. The Event Organiser will station staff and volunteers at medical aid stations and water stations to provide medical assistance and help maintain order. users may request assistance at any time if needed.

④Special Note

1. If the user suffers from discomfort and related illnesses or symptoms due to his/her own reasons (including but not limited to chronic illness, invisible illness, lack of physical strength, etc.) during the Event, and the insurance company ultimately determines that the claim is not covered, then all legal liabilities and consequences (including but not limited to medical expenses, loss of work, disability compensation or compensation, death compensation, etc.) will be the responsibility of the user and the Event Organiser takes no responsibility. Please evaluate your own health condition carefully before registering. Please consult professional medical facilities if necessary.
2. The Event Organiser will provide free first aid treatment during the Event, limited strictly to on-site emergency care. Any subsequent medical treatment, hospital expenses, or related costs shall be the responsibility of the user. users must liaise directly with the insurance company regarding claims or negotiations for expenses incurred during subsequent hospital treatment. While the Event Organiser may provide relevant documentation upon request, it assumes no responsibility for the outcome of insurance claims or negotiations.
3. If the user is injured or dies due to doping or other prohibited substances during the competition, whether detected before, during or after the event, the user shall bear all legal responsibilities and consequences (including but not limited to medical expenses, loss of work, disability compensation or compensation, death compensation, etc.).
4. To ensure the safety of users, judges and staff members authorized by the Event Organzier reserves the right to prevent any user from participating in the Event if the user involved is deemed unable to continue.

 

    6. Real-Name Rule

• This Event is subject to a mandatory Real-Name entry requirement. At the time of purchase, the User must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information of each marathon user. Any false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in immediate entry denial without refund and potential prohibition from future events, at the sole discretion of the Event Organiser. Required information includes:
  • Full name (in English, as shown on the valid passport)
  • Passport number
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address
• The information provided will be used for the purposes of entry issuance, admission verification, and event-related communication. users must collect your Race number and race bib in advance in order to participate in the Event.
• Each entry must be registered to a unique, named individual. For multiple entry purchases, the User must provide complete and accurate registration details for each attendee at the time of purchase. Duplicate names or incomplete information may result in the invalidation of the affected entries.

 

    7. Bib Collection/Race Packet

• Pick-up Time:9:30-19:30 (GMT+8) 27 November 2025 (Thursday)

                               9:30-19:30 (GMT+8) 28 November 2025 (Friday)

                               9:30-19:30 (GMT+8) 29 November 2025 (Saturday)

• Pick-up Venue: Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (850 Bocheng Road)
• Each user must present your original, valid passport to the Event Organiser to collect your race number on site. The passport number presented must match the number submitted during online race registration. 247tickets.com bears no responsibility for entry denial due to invalid or expired passport documents.
• Unless otherwise provided by the Event Organiser, users are required to collect their race packets in person. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse the release of race packets and disqualify the users who fail to submit the required documents or comply with verification procedures. 247tickets.com shall not be liable for any such refusal or disqualification.

 

    8. Force Majeure

In the event that the Event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Event Organiser’s control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government restrictions, or any other unforeseen events, all marathon entry purchases will be refunded. Additionally, any hotel accommodations booked as part of the Event Travel Package shall also be refunded.

 

    9. General Terms and Conditions

9.1 The Event and its activities are organized by the Event Organiser stated above. 247tickets.com acts solely as a facilitator in the sale of Event Travel Packages and is not involved in any aspects of the organization, management, or execution of the Event. 247tickets.com does not have any affiliation, partnership, or other formal relationships with the Event Organiser beyond providing a platform for the purchase of Packages. All inquiries, issues, or disputes regarding the Event itself, including but not limited to event schedule, logistics, safety, facilities, and any other event-related matters, should be directed to the Event Organiser. 247tickets.com shall not be held responsible or liable for any aspect of the Event's operation or for any discrepancies between the Event details provided on our platform and the actual event. Users are encouraged to directly contact the Event Organiser for any clarifications or concerns related to the Event.

9.2 Any changes will be announced by the Event Organiser. The Event Organiser reserves the right to final decision on the admission of any user who fails to comply with the terms and conditions.

9.3  Terms and conditions of the Event are subject to the relevant terms set by the Event Organiser. Please read all details, terms, conditions, prohibitions, and policies of the Event Organiser.

9.4   Coupons cannot be applied for discounts for the purchase of this Package.

9.5 Event entry shall not be resold or offered for resale privately or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes.

9.6 To the extent permitted by law, 247tickets.com and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or any matters under the Event Organiser's control.

9.7 Your personal data provided during the purchase will be handled in accordance with 247tickets.com’s Privacy Policy and the Event Organiser’s Privacy Policy. If you have any requests regarding your personal information rights, including access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent, or other questions about our privacy practices, please contact our data protection officer at sg_dataprotection@247tickets.com.

9.8 247tickets.com reserves the right to cancel any abnormal order after the order has been placed or become effective, subject to reasonable notice to the user where practicable, and shall only be liable for refunding the actual payment made by the user for such cancelled order. Abnormal ordering behavior includes, but is not limited to, the following: orders that are not, in 247tickets.com 's reasonable opinion, genuine, including, but not limited to, malicious booking or taking advantage of software vulnerabilities or orders placed through batches of identical or fictitious payment accounts, shipping addresses, recipients, email addresses, and/or mobile phone numbers.

9.9 If the Event Organiser or 247tickets.com and its affiliated companies discovers any cheating behavior of the User during the purchase, including but not limited to malicious ordering, malicious registration, exploitation of program loopholes, the use of plug-ins, reverse purchasing and selling, false trading and/or any other violations of the Event rules and fairness, 247tickets.com and its affiliated companies has the right to cancel the User's order for the Event without having to bear any responsibility for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or claims arising out of or relating to this Event, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, nor shall they be liable to the User or any other individuals for any liabilities related to this Event.

9.10 We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or through our platform. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9.11 In the event of a dispute, these terms shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. Any claim or action relating to these terms shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Singapore.
