The Last Five Years (Mandarin Only)

We crave for what we don’t have, and we yearn for what won’t last.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary since its debut, Tony Award® winner Jason Robert Brown’s The Last Five Years arrives in Shanghai in a brand-new Chinese production!

Experience the euphoric, yet fleeting rush of two twenty-somethings falling in and out of love in New York City. The musical weaves two timelines together: Cathy tells her story in reverse from their heart-wrenching breakup, while Jamie narrates chronologically from their magical first spark. They cross paths only once—at their wedding.

With a brand-new translation, immersive design, and breathtaking staging featuring Brown’s iconic score, don’t miss this intimate musical that offers an unforgettable glimpse into love, and the inevitable goodbyes.
