Exhibition Introduction

As light and shadow interweave, a journey of life spanning 66 million years is about to unfold before your eyes.

This is a rare immersive IMAX experience that combines the latest scientific storytelling, visual marvels, and cutting-edge technology to transport audiences into the prehistoric world. Adapted from the critically acclaimed documentary series Prehistoric Planet, produced by Apple TV and BBC Studios Natural History Unit, the exhibition features selected highlights from Season 1 and Season 2, along with exclusive never-before-seen extended footage and original content. For the first time, the documentary's breathtaking prehistoric world is presented in its entirety through a 360° immersive projection system.

With a runtime of nearly one hour, the exhibition is structured in six chapters. Here, audiences will journey through the deep blue of the oceans, the biting cold of the high skies, the searing heat of volcanoes, and the desolate vastness of deserts. From the perspective of dinosaurs, we are invited to rethink the birth, proliferation, and evolution of life on Earth, and to appreciate the enduring power of adaptation, continuation, and coexistence across vast stretches of time.
