The global finals of the World University Cyber Games 2019 (hereafter refer to as WUCG 2019) will be held in Sanya from December 3rd to 7th, 2019, according to a press conference held in Sanya on October 10th, 2019.
The WUCG, which was initially known as the University Cyber Games (UCG), was initially held in 2016. It is an e-sports event that aims to create a cyber game carnival for young people. The event integrates cyber games, music, and animation culture.
The games will bring top-notch student players together from more than 20 universities from around the world. Competitors will come from countries including China, the United States, Australia, and Spain.

Wangyitai (aka 3Ho)
If you’ve been following this column, you might already be familiar with the Chengdu rap star Wang Yitai. Although he didn’t make it into the finale of last year’s Rap of China, Wang, aka 3Ho, has gained more than 1.5 million followers on Weibo, and his hit song “Mu Bu Zhuan Jing” went viral on the Chinese internet right after he performed it on the show.
More recently, Wang Yitai, along with fellow Rap of China contestants After Journey and Air, was included in Forbes China’s “30 Under 30” list for music.
