Bilingual entrepreneur and small to medium size enterprise pitch event series. Any industry welcome. Present your idea in five minutes to gain insight, advice, resources, and/or investment from both Chinese and/or foreign industry-leading advisors and investors with no pressure for both sides.

 

Startup owner(s)/Entrepreneur(s) are required to present a fully developed idea, but can present in the method that suits them best (such as PPT, whiteboard, handouts, props, etc).

 

This is particularly a good opportunity if you want to verify your business model.

 

We will have the event professionally translated for both pitches and advisor/investor reactions for the most benefit to both sides. Both local and foreign teams welcome. Any nationality.

 

As this is a series of pitch events, we plan to host more at various times of the week in the future to accommodate people’s work schedules such as weekday mornings and evenings, and weekend mornings/evenings. Also, if we have too many pitches then we will ask those that apply later for the next event.

 

There will be a networking event to follow with all in attendance The fees for attending are for the networking event rather than the pitch part of the event.

Michael J. Beda
Michael J. Beda is a founding member and Director at HuaXia Finance; a Peer-to-Peer Lending firm Headquartered in Shanghai with more than 150 offices across China employing over 8,000 team members. Mr. Beda came to China in 2009 where he worked in real estate investment and has lived in numerous cities including Chengdu, Beijing, and Xiamen, but currently calls Shanghai home and has resided here for the past 3 years where he guest lectures Economics at a myriad of Universities in his free time. In addition to his role overseeing foreign operations at HuaXia Finance, Mr. Beda is an active member of the community, outspoken philanthropist, and art enthusiast.
