NEW! Shenzhen/Guangzhou Departure: Let's go... trek along Shenzhen's coastline!

 

This amazing trek between Shenzhen's Dongchong and Xichong Beaches is among China's top 10 most beautiful hiking routes according to National Geographic. The mountain portion of the hike has panoramic ocean views, with sights of the blue sky and sea throughout. The journey is about 6km, all along the beautiful rocky coastline. It can take from 3 to 5 hours to reach Xichong Beach.

Dates: Each Saturday

 

08:00  Meet at Shenda North Gate under the overpass

08:10  Get ready to go

08:20  Meet at Lianhua North Station, Exit A1

08:30  Get ready to go

08:50  Meet at Liuyue Station, Exit C1

09:00  Get ready to go, will not wait for latecomers. Itinerary description and self-introductions on the bus.

10:30  Arrive at East Village, do warm-up activities, and start our trek up the mountain!

12:00  Rest and relax on the beach, have our lunch

13:00  Cliff climbing along the coastline, walking across the reefs, continuing towards Xichong (if you are unable to continue, you can take a speedboat directly there, cost is not covered)

17:00  Reach out destination Xichong Beach, rest and relax

17:30  Take the bus back

19:30  Back to the city (please prepare food/snacks for the road)

Not included – please pack your own meals/snacks for the trip.

Note: While this trip will have a Leader, he/she may or may not speak English. That said, foreigners have traveled with this group before without any issues.
