Using the most ordinary household trash and a transparent "behind-the-scenes" shadow puppetry technique, this Canadian artist has ignited unprecedented global enthusiasm for puppetry and hand-shadow theatre.
One person, one table, one lamp, one curtain… The stage setting is unimaginably simple, but a series of exciting performances will soon be held here. Discarded toys, cardboard, brushes, steel wool... under the Shadow Magician's hands and clever lighting, these mundane objects instantly transform into minimalist yet strikingly vivid characters and props.

Without a single spoken word, the shadow puppets spring to life on screen as music begins. The show defies genre boundaries—art house, comedy, action, thriller, sci-fi, inspirational drama—constantly pushing the limits of imagination. Audience members might even be invited onstage to experience creating shadow characters firsthand.
After its groundbreaking 2010 debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (where it won three major awards), the production has taken both Off-Broadway and London's West End by storm with consistently sold-out shows. Its global tour has spanned over 20 countries and regions including Germany, France, the UK, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Dubai, Kuwait, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, with demand continuing to grow worldwide.
