Who's still scared of the big bad wolf?
Not exactly the beast we all came across through many adventures, which scared us as kids.
Through various points of view, continents and techniques, the movies showed in this film-concert, picture a wolf who is not so scary after all, often ridiculous, and even friendly.
By the musicians Anne-Laure Bourget and Ollivier LeroyAnne-Laure Bourget (percussionist) and Ollivier Leroy (pianist, singer, composer) have both already had a nice journey and set their print on the world music industry.
Anne-Laure chose to specialize in traditional music and ethnomusicology. She regularly performs alongside Mohamed Abozekry & Heejaz, Kwal, or the Ziryab Quartet.
Ollivier created and produced several projects of eclectic genres (Contreo, Olli & the Bollywood Orchestra). He also collaborated with Mukta, La Tordue, and others.
Together, they worked on Olli & Mood, a world vocal trio.
With the wealth of experience acquired both separately and together, the two multi-instrumentalists found it only natural to share their music with young audiences.Their music is made of percussions from around the world, unusual instruments, keyboards (Indian harmonium, toy piano), diverted objects and vocals. The music swings from sound effects to original tracks, world music, pop and baroque (brought along by counter tenor vocals) music. It is a cosmopolitan sound creation, just like the selected short movies.
