2022 New Year's Concert

The New Year Concert will be directed by national-level composer Shen Chuanxin and Shanghai Light Music Orchestra conductor Meng Jinjin, with nearly 70 artists from the Shanghai Public Orchestra presenting a variety of forms, including soloists, repertoire, and orchestral ensembles, to present Chinese and foreign masterpieces. At the beginning of the New Year, the music was heard, and the classical pieces such as "Spring Festival Overture" and "Blue Danube" were like fresh spring breeze that infiltrated the hearts of listeners, and the New Year and spring weather arrived quietly with the melodies. National first-class composer, former chief composer of Shanghai TV Station, current director of Shanghai Public Orchestra.

Performance Group - Shanghai Public Orchestra

Founded in 2009 by national-level composer Shen Chuanxin, it currently has a performance team of nearly 100 people, including more than 60 orchestra players and 30 chorus members. In the past thirteen years since its establishment, the Shanghai Public Orchestra has given nearly 1,000 performances to hundreds of thousands of audiences and composed ten new symphonic choral works.
