Let’s go…trekking on Nanhuang’s Ancient Trail!!

This trip is all about trekking through awesome nature along an ancient trail! We will be heading to the great outdoors to check out the fall scenery. This is one of the top eight maple sightseeing spots in China and the end of November is the perfect time to visit.  We will be checking out the best of nature, fall colors, passing by lakes, ancient villages, golden rice terraces, a gorgeous mountain, trekking a thousand-year-old trail, and more!

Day 1 – Friday

19:00 – Meet at Hongkou Stadium (Metro Lines 8 and 3) Exit 3, outside - follow the music! 

19:30 – Hop on the bus and head over to our hotel 

23:00 – Arrive and check in to our hotel 

 
Day 2 – Saturday 

08:00 – Simple Western breakfast 

09:00 – Hop on the bus and head to an antique village 

10:30 – Start our adventure; the 12km ancient trail with colorful trees, ancient villages and rice terraces!! 

13:00 – Picnic lunch in an ancient village 

14:00 – Continue our hike and take photos 

16:30 – Hop on the bus and head back to town 

17:30 – Local specialty dinner 

20:00 – Time to relax and chill in town! 
 

Day 3 – Sunday

07:00 – Simple Western breakfast 

08:00 – Hop on the bus over to our next starting point 

09:00 – Start another 5km hike, where we’ll see a gorgeous mountain and beautiful lake! 

12:00 – Head back downtown 

13:00 – Local specialty lunch 

14:00 – Hop on the bus and chillax on our way back home 

18:00 – Arrive in Shanghai
