Musical Pan Yu Lin portrays Pan Yu-Lin, China’s first female Western painter, who rose from poverty through resilience and talent. Cold stares and exclusion became radiant colors in her art — hymns to the world and laments for her homeland. Blending East and West, she carved her legend with her distinctive “Iron Wire,” standing firm in turbulent times. Choosing art for life, she devoted herself entirely to its pursuit. Painting saved her, persistence secured her place in history. Her journey is not only her own but also an inspiration and a profound call to our hearts.
