Conductor: Kevin John Edusei
Kevin John Edusei is one of today's most promising conductors of the younger generation. His exceptional interpretations ranging from baroque to contemporary music demonstrate a delicate, clear conducting with esprit and wit that is based on the accurate knowledge of the score.
 
 
As Chief Conductor of the Munich Symphony Orchestra since the 2014/2015 season, Kevin John Edusei brings exceptional new programmatic vision to the orchestra, which satisfies connoisseurs as well as music lovers.
 
 
Cellist: Tatjana Vassiljeva
Described as a "phenomenon", Tatjana Vassiljeva is known as a musician possessing an irreproachable technique and irresistible range of sonorities, whose innate musical curiosity is reflected by her extensive repertoire, which ranges from baroque to contemporary music and includes several works of which she has given the world première.
 
 
Presenter: Munich Symphony Orchestra
The logo of the Munich Symphony Orchestra shows a golden angel on the banks of the River Isar whose wing tips point skywards, keeping vigil over the Bavarian state capital. Strongly committed to Munich and its music traditions, the Munich Symphony Orchestra is one of the city's four symphony orchestras.
 
The Orchestra takes as its motto and as its remit the maxim "The Sound of our City"; with its four subscription concert series in Munich's grand venues, it is well-established as one of the city's most renowned ensembles, and when on tour, it takes that "Sound of our City" far and wide beyond the city limits.
