A live painting competition showcasing local artists and connecting Shanghai's creative profiles.

 

Come watch as artists transform blank canvases into beautiful pieces of art in rounds of just 20 minutes, and then help vote to determine the winner of the evening!

 

All artwork will also be available for silent auction.

 

 

 

 

 

 

DJ TOY, born Allyson Toy, is a Shanghai/NYC based DJ who is as sought after for her talent behind the turntables as her experience working with artists worldwide. She seamlessly bridges hip-hop, R&B, dance and sounds of the global underground. In Asia, DJ TOY has performed in over 15 cities across China including Arkham, Le Baron and ALL in Shanghai, Tango in Beijing, Tokyo's Unit, Black Market in Manila, XXX in Hong Kong, Cherry in Singapore and many more. She has played opening sets for artists such as Higher Brothers, Howie Lee, Bohan Phoenix, J-Fever, Yeti Out, Doughboy and others.

 

 

 

15th MADNESS, Art Battle® will happen on the rooftop of WeWork Yunnan Road. They transform buildings into dynamic environments for creativity, focus, and collaboration.

 

 

Pebeo, founded in 1919, is well known for its high-quality colors and accessories for fine arts. Pebeo will be the official supplier for this first event in Shanghai. This is why participants only need to bring their brushes and any other non-marking, non-mechanical tools they would like to use. Pebeo will provide the following materials: canvases, paint, easels, water containers, palettes, mixing plates and shop towels for rags.
