The Multiverse Project proudly presents the Asia debut and nationwide launch of the groundbreaking medieval immersive expedition, “The Last Stronghold: Carcassonne 1304”, co-produced by Excurio and the Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
Everyone knows Carcassonne, this iconic medieval city that attracts millions of visitors each year. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its majestic silhouette, restored by Viollet-le-Duc, has become emblematic. But how much do we truly know about the city as it stood in 1304, when its fortifications were completed?
ore than just an imposing three-kilometer-long stronghold guarding the kingdom's borders, Carcassonne was also home to its inhabitants, living in the shadow of the Inquisition that dominated the region.
For 45 minutes, the storyline leads them through the experience alongside Simon, a young nobleman, and Agnès, a rebellious townswoman, whom visitors will follow in a captivating storytelling. Vibrant medieval life scenes, the bustling market, nighttime watch on the ramparts, combat training, and even the intimate quarters of the noble residences within the impenetrable fortress: every moment immerses visitors In Middle Ages more alive than ever.
Drawing on the latest historical and architectural research and validated by experts from the Centre des monuments nationaux, The Last Stronghold - Carcassonne, 1304 meticulously recreates the city at its peak with incredible attention to detail. This experience brings exceptional visibility to this invaluable medieval heritage. Blending historical reality with immersive storytelling, this adventure offers a unique vision of Carcassonne, one that has never been seen before and will never be seen again after Viollet-le-Duc's interventions.

-We recommend that you arrive 5-10 minutes before the scheduled time and enter the venue in an orderly manner under the arrangement of the staff.
Visitors who have successfully made a reservation and arrive before the reservation time can enter the ‘Reserved’ channel, while those who have not made a reservation or have not arrived before the reservation time can wait in the ‘Unreserved’ channel and ask the staff at the venue for the waiting time. The latest admission time is 21:00 every day.
-This programme is a large-space immersive virtual reality exploration experience, which does not cause dizziness under normal circumstances.
-Wearable equipment is required for this programme, and the weight of the headset is 0.7kg.
-Children under the age of 6 are not admitted. This experience is recommended for children aged 8 years old or above. children aged 6/8 years old and under 12 years old must be accompanied by a guardian and walk with the guardian throughout the whole experience.
