Kings of Convenience is an indie folk-pop duo hailing from Bergen, Norway, formed in 1999. The duo is comprised of childhood friends Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe, who both share vocal and songwriting duties. Their debut album, “Quiet is the New Loud” became a critical success and helped establish their signature sound of gentle acoustic guitar melodies and rich harmonies. They have since released four more albums, with their latest being “Peace or Love” in 2021.
