One of China's most promising pianists, Jane Xie has an international career, performing in Europe, Australia, Asia and the United States.
She has performed with leading conductors such as Mikhail Pletnev, Jacek Kapspszky, Tiberiu Soare, Cao Peng, Chen Xieyang, Xu Zhong, and Muhai Tang, as well as the Russian National Orchestra, Romanian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Belearic Islands Symphony Orchestra of Spain, Italian Youth Orchestra, Chamber Music Symphony Orchestra of the Royal Irish Academy of Music, and Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra of Korea. In China, she has performed with many major orchestras in many major venues. Jean-Claude Casadesus described her as, "A great female pianist with a brilliant technique, unique understanding of music, beautiful sound, and good taste." Her teacher Gitti Pirner (professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Munich) and fellow professors agreed that "She was born to play the piano."
