Hailing from the Northeast of England and now located in London, Blackhall & Bookless have forged a strong name for themselves in the electronic sphere, working in close connection to their own Jaunt imprint, which has made the journey from club night to record label without ever forgetting its roots.

Being grounded in longterm friendship has kept their approach to music honest, and enabled them to keep their sound unique and effective. As they recognition grows, Blackhall & Bookless find themselves playing further afield, always showing themselves to be an adaptable duo – playing regularly in such venerated spaces as Fabric, Gottwood, Razzmatazz and Space Ibiza – Blackhall & Bookless deliver a consistent and authentic dancefloor experience, with a sound both direct and immersive, combining hedonism and depth at the intersection of techno, house and beyond.

Since the duo launched Jaunt in Newcastle 2007, and moving to London in 2012, Jaunt has developed a strong reputation, travelling all over Europe and Asia. Regular hosting and playing alongside artists such as Ben Klock, Nina Kraviz, Marcel Dettmann, DVS1, Rødhad, Derrick May, Robert Hood, Zip, Ben UFO – Chris & Chris are always prepared with the journey in mind, using their experience in the booth with over a decade in the game.

The natural progression of their events lead to the founding of Jaunt Records in September 2014, and the DIY approach and ethos has remained as the basis of this platform. Their first EP accompanied by remixes from Fred P and Virginia, met critical acclaim and this lead them on to work alongside other carefully selected artists such as Mike Dehnert, Don Williams, Bleak, Luke Hess and Artefakt. Forthcoming 2018 releases see a strong list solo material working alongside artists such as - Shed, Inland, Markus Suckut, Jonas Kopp & more.
