The French musical Cyrano de Bergerac is adapted from the eponymous masterpiece by the French playwright Edmond Rostand. It presents a bold and entirely new reinterpretation of this classic five-act play from the 19th century, preserving the core essence of the original while placing the characters in a contemporary context. Through songs, dance, and captivating scenes, this fresh production revives one of the most moving love stories in literary history, infusing it with renewed vitality.

 

 

 

The musical Cyrano de Bergerac was jointly created by the lyricist and composer Philippe Hattemberg and Stéphane Brunello, both of whom have contributed to musicals such as Le Roi Soleil and Mozart, l'Opéra Rock. The upcoming China tour will feature French musical stars Laurent Ban and Chiara Di Bari as leading performers in the cast.
