Filled with youthful vigour, Wang Banana’s works are highly recognisable from their bright, cheerful colours. Banana Manufacturing is Wang Banana’s first solo exhibition in 2021. The colour matching used here reminds one of the sweet things in life – marshmallows, macaroons, and chocolates. Painted sculptures make up of a more substantial proportion here, as compared to past exhibitions. These are co-branded and made together with other artists such as Du Qiurui, Ling Yifei, Yumenmen, Han Rui and many more. 

About Wang Banana 

Graduating from Shanghai Fudan Academy of Visual Arts, Wang Banana is a post-90s internet celebrity artist known for his works based on his two bulldogs raised from home. Ever since then, he has made a series of paintings and sculptures and developed many original art design and concepts. His works have powers of healing, inspiration amongst the young to express themselves creatively.
