魚住英里奈 (うおずみえりな), a unique and independent singer-songwriter born in Kumamoto and now living in Tokyo, has been performing as a solo guitarist and singer-songwriter on the streets, at live bars, and in livehouses, centred in Tokyo.

 

Since 2017. In December of the same year, she held her first solo performance ‘Solo’. Since then, she has been performing and curating shows with Japanese artists of various genres, including well-known musicians such as Keiji Ashino, ASA-CHANG & Hajime, Doreen Toyoda, Cutting, and Yukiya Fujita.

 

 

Her live performances are mesmerising, with melodies that incorporate her upbringing and life experiences, a certain undercurrent of power in her vocals, and lyrics that sound like she is praying for someone.

 

In 2021, she released her debut album, Bride of ISO1600, followed by her second EP, Brave なソーダ, in 2022, and a subsequent tour of Japan. 2024 saw the release of Alone, a live album recorded in Kumamoto. Her music has been influenced by Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith and others.
