What is Bastille Day?

"Joyeux Quatorze Juillet" is the phrase to say when wishing someone a Happy Bastille Day.

Bastille Day is much like the 4th July in America, a public holiday celebrated by the whole country. In France,  there will be many public events and activities held such as fireworks, parades and parties.

Shanghai is the most diverse and internationally active city in China. Every year there are more French people moving to Shanghai, and naturally more people are interested in France's culture and history.
