Chinese New Year: Let's go... get our diving certificates in the Bali!!!

This time we are headed to Bali, Indonesia to check out some awesome dive spots - coral reefs, shipwrecks, and underwater “gardens”  while getting our certificates! Plus, we will be hiking up Mount Batur, the second largest volcano in Bali!

 

If you are already a certified Open Water diver, you can get your Advanced Open Water certificate through this course as well!! Already have your Advanced Open Water?  You can jst come and do some awesome dives. It’s time to get a certificate any adventurer needs in order to fully experience the world… and we are doing this in the pristine waters of Bali!! Don’t miss out on this one!!

Dates: February 13-19 (Tuesday to Monday over the Chinese New Year Holiday)

 

Day  1 - Tuesday - February 13

• Catch our flights over to Bali
• Transfer to the Amed area (~2.5 hours)
• Check in at Island resort
• Begin afternoon classes - Dive Theory + Equipment preparation

 

Day 2 - Wednesday - February 14

 

• Dive Site: Amed

 

• After breakfast take a small journey to Jemeluk bay and the coral wall (2 dives)
• Return to the Dive shop for some lunch
• Drive to the Pyramids diving spot in the afternoon
• Head back to the Island resort for the evening
• OW Students (beginners) - pool training in the morning, 2 afternoon diving classes
• If you are getting both OW & AOW Certificates during this trip you will start with the OW program and begin the AOW program on Day 3
• AOW Students - 3 dives (part of the course)
• AOW Certificate holders - 3 dives

 

Day 3 - Thursday - February 15

 

• Dive Site: Tulamben

 

• After breakfast, drive a short distance to the Cliff and Coral Garden (2 dives)
• Return to the Dive shop for some lunch
• Head to Liberty Wreck (1 dive)
• Enjoy a night time dive late on in the evening
• Head back to the Island resort for the evening
• OW Students - 2 dives + afternoon courses
• AOW Students - 4 dives (2 dives are part of the course, including 1 night dive + 2 fun dives)
• OW+AOW Double Certificate Students - 2 dives (OW) & 2 dives (AOW)

• AOW Certificate holders - 4 dives (including 1 night dive)

 

Day 4 - Friday - February 16

 

• Dive Site: Kubu

 

• After breakfast take a 20 minute journey to Kubu Monkey Reef and Shipwreck, 2 awesome dives
• Head to the dive shop for some lunch
• Make our way to Kubu Garden
• Complete the final dive of the day
• Return to our Island resort accommodation for the evening
• OW Students - 2 dives (no shipwreck for beginners)
• AOW Students - 3 dives
• OW+AOW Double Certificate Students - 3 dives + AOW courses

• AOW Certificate holders - 3 dives

 

Day 5 - Saturday - February 17

 

• Dive Site: Amed

 

• After breakfast, transfer to a Japanese shipwreck and Lipah
• Enjoy two awesome dives here
• Head to the dive shop for lunch
• Watch the spectacular sunset
• All levels of divers will complete two fun dives
• OW Students - 2 dives
• AOW Students - 2 dives
• OW+AOW Double Certificate Students - 2 dives

• AOW Certificate holders - 2 dives

 

Day 6 - Sunday - February 18

 

• Mount Batur Trek

 

• 02:00 - Start the 1.5 hour drive to Penelokan Kintamani
• 04:00 - Begin the hike up the mountain
• Check out the awesome views of Abang and Agung volcanos
• Have some breakfast at the top of the volcano
• Return back to the Island resort
• Chill out and grab some drinks

 

Day 7 - Monday - February 19

• Enjoy some breakfast before you head off the island
• Return to Shanghai (note: you must wait 18 hours after your last dive before flying.)

Congratulations!! You are now a fully qualified diver…. You can dive anywhere in the world!!!

Included - 6 nights - Island resort , double occupancy, for the duration of our stay in Bali. Rooms will be booked on a first come first served basis.  If you wish to room alone, the single occupancy fee is an extra 1200 RMB per person total for 6 nights. Please note that single occupancy availability may be limited. (If needed, we can help you find someone to share. Pairings in this case are distributed in order of request submission. If there is an uneven number of travelers, the extra single occupancy fee may apply.)

We do not go cheap on safety... We only use the best equipment available with the most experienced instructors.

What you need to bring:

Passport, camera/gopro, sunscreen, toiletries, small daypack, sun glasses, swimming suit, towels, flip flops, adaptor plug

If the traveler decides to cancel, s/he can get refund of the deposit (a small cancellation fee may apply) up to January 4 and no refund after that. Do I need a visa?

Most countries do not need a visa to visit Indonesia, but check beforehand. If you do need a visa, there is a consulate available in Shanghai
