A selection of food and beverage vendors will also be at the Expo to promote healthy dinning options.

Run To The Beat music running event was first established by IMG in London back in 2008. The first event attracted 12,000 runners to join. Later, the event developed its popularity worldwide and has since attrected over 100,000 runners to participate.

The "Beat" in Run To The Beat referes to the beats from the music. The concept behind combining music with running came from Dr Costas Karageorghis, associate professor of sport psychology at Brunel University. He stated: "When carefully selected, our research shows that music can help increase performance levels quite profoundly. ... I will ensure that the tempo and rhythm of the music contour the physiological demands of the event – to provide athletes with the additional motivation needed to pull a great performance out of the bag or even just to help them enjoy the experience a little more." With the arrangement of different music genre on the race course, runners will enjoy a unique running experience and explore the power of music to running.

In addition to music, the event also encourages runners to discover their own definition to the "beat" in running, which can also be considered as the "motivation" to their run. Join the #MyRunMyBeat, #我有我节拍# compaign to share the "beat" to your run!

Run To The Beat 悦节拍 Music Half Marathon, 10K, 5K Beijing is produced by WME|IMG China.
