Liu Xiaoyi's directorial work, Deep Blue, uses a variety of creative elements to restore a living underwater world. The actors use discarded household objects, sand, water, light and sound to transform the theatre into an ocean, making the feeling of being immersed in the deep sea even more vivid. They manipulate the puppets with their limbs and also create an infinite world of imagination with the poetry of the East.

Environmental protection is one of the kernels of "Deep Blue", the work starts from nature and creates a poetic and infinite ocean on stage. The inspiration for this work comes from the creators who have the qualification of divers, and the scenery in front of their eyes and the feelings in their hearts when they dive have contributed to this theatre.

What Deep Blue hopes to teach children is a love of nature, and hopefully they will walk out of the theatre knowing how to be respectful and grateful to our Mother Ocean.
